I need to take some pictures, I know. But I’ve been so busy getting this huge garden going I don’t have time to do much else. We’ve planted everything and most are coming in already. We have had just the right amount of rain and sun to really get it going. I used organic fertilizer and I’m pulling weeds instead of using any chemicals. I did use brush killer on the fence area because there is poison ivy.
Spinach is awesome, some of it’s ready to eat already.
Only one of 6 asparagus didn’t come in.
Carrots and brussels sprouts look good, we had to add a lot of sand to that area but I think it’s worth it.
Pepper plants transplanted well.
Radishes and beets are coming in.
Pumpkins have sprouted, but not much else out of the vine veggies.
The rhubarb seems to be chewed, I think there is something eating the garden.
Only a couple of my tomato plants made it, I had to buy 4 more.
And nothing showing from the green beans yet. In a couple days I’ll plant some more.
The herb garden doesn’t seem to be prospering either. Maybe it’s slower, but I’ll put some more seeds in if I don’t see anything by Monday.
The lettuce looks really good, it’s about an inch tall now.
